2: Review of Thunkable:

  • Thunkable is an IOS/Android app builder, that uses a drag-drop mechanic for blocks, muck like scratch. Thunkable, however is a little bit hard to use at times because of its cross platform nature. It can be buggy and hard to use at times, and the beaver logo is annoying. The app building process is hard to get used to, when you do figure out that the control drawer does very little and that it's all about buttons, its not hard to use. Making simple apps is easy, but making a more high level app can be tedious and frustrating. overall I would give Thunkable 3/5 stars. All the app posts before this one are from Thunkable.

2: free the octopus from the forest
I started out by selecting the octopus, and using Ctrl + J, I duplicated the octopus in a new later all to himself. I then deleted the layer that had the background in it. After that I zoomed in bunch using the Z key to get a better view of the currently dismembered octopus. then using the eyedropper tool (I) I selected the color of certain pixels and filled in the holes, reattaching his arms using a 1 pixel paintbrush.

Friday Post Sept 7

What I already know:
I have done flash in past IT courses. We made fishtank animations which was challenging, yet interesting.

What I want to learn:
I want to learn how to code using python because I think it would be a good skill to have that could definitely be useful in the future. Python is also a widely used programming language.
How computers fit into my future:
Computers are a relatively recent invention, and they are already revolutionizing the way humans do literally everything. Computers will always be used in every industry in the future. I am going to be entering engineering in the future and computers will always be used.
